Dig horn-based music? Like to dance? Or do you just enjoy singing along with your favorite tunes? Then Chains Required is just what you need! We're a 10-piece rhythm & blues band based in Sonora, California and our goal is to provide a soul-stirring musical experience.
Formed in 2007 by trombonist George Greenfield and friends, Chains Required is composed of top-tier local musicians who really enjoy entertaining with tunes spanning from the 60s to present. Central to the band is a four-piece horn section with journeyman players, backed by a sizzling-hot rhythm section to lay down the beat. In front are two singers guaranteed to knock your socks off. Perhaps that's why the Sierra Lodestar named us "Best Local Band" for Tuolumne County (March, 2010).
